Privacy Policy

The short version

Hanmo collects no data. None. The app has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs that transmit data.

What stays on your device

• Your preferences (character script, daily pace, reminder time, widget hours)
• Your learning progress (which words you have reviewed and when they are next due)

This information is stored only in the app’s local storage on your device and, for the lock-screen widget, in the app’s own App Group container. It never leaves your device. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

Network access

Hanmo works fully offline and makes no network requests. Word audio uses the speech synthesizer built into your device.

Notifications

If you enable the daily reminder, Hanmo schedules a local notification on your device. Nothing is sent to any server, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings.

Children

Hanmo collects no data from anyone, including children.
